As a young adult, Joshua developed an early passion for teaching by volunteering as a classroom aid in local special education classrooms. After entering college, he combined his love for music and passion for education and began teaching music to young students. Allen encourages and inspires music students to critically think and problem-solve through music to aid their educational development. He has taught both violin and viola to students privately through his own studio, established music academies, and as a strings coach in public schools.
